When did you start to be interested in animation?

I’ve always liked animation. When I was studying at the high-school,I tried doing some animations with a very basic program called cabri. It’s there where all this adventure starts.

How long have you been working as an animator?

Well,I work, I study, or I try to grow up a little bit every day to be able to work more as a director,Knowing a Little bit about everything, and not a lot of a Little bit, although in this world you have to know a lot of everything.

Which are your influences, or inspiration’s sources?

Above all , draftsmen, artists and directors from German’s expressionist, being The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari my favourite film. Battleship Potemkin,Junky's Christmas, Ryan Larkin, Tim burton, Don Blut, Edward Gorey, John Lasseter, Ralph Bakshi. It’s clear that there is a big variety, but every film, director or ilustrator has his own esence, based in the own individual’s freedom, that in my opinión it’s what makes his art emanates, and maybe for my lack of decisión, I am a host of each one of the different visions in the world that I’ve been able to see inside them.

Describe your studio.

I share it with my classmates, the production company of the art’s school with a great atmosphere and surrounded by computers and animation tables.

How would you define animation?

The animation consists of giving the impression of a lot of movement with the minimum of elements.

It’s another way at which visual artists can communicate their ideas. (Motomichi Nakamura)

It’s the greatest artistic power,it’s the way through which human’s reason combines art in an intrinsic way.(Me)

Yo.

Can you tell us more about dreamless?, David Smith from Skwigly animation magazine, http://www.skwigly.co.uk/

Dreamless is an interpretation of cancer's challenge extrapolated to a relationship inside patient's subconcious in an oniric and expresionist world.

Respect to the visual development ,we have  backgrounds which are rich in vital details to resolve the ending. The characters look for an aesthetic  near to stop-motion  and try to transmit the painting's esence as Edward Gorey, something  so relatively new as 3D is.So it's developing in 3d animation , but simulating stop motion animation.
Besides, it will take different abstract sequencies  ,where cell's behavior will be transmited .The colour's treatment will be based in  cold colours nearest to grey's scale with colour hit in puntual moments.
